I want to share with you something that I feel God is putting on my heart. And that is that there is an urgency in the air. A calling if you will for us as Christians to actually step our game up. I recently did some traveling where I went to South Africa, Florida, and Colorado. I met some incredible people, spent time with old friends, and I even met my biological family. Even with all of it, all that I did, and gave witness too; the only thing that satisfied me fully is when I got to spend time with God or share about God with others. That is where my heart came alive. That is when I felt fully complete. Now, I am not the best evangelist. It is even hard for me sometimes to open my mouth. But when I do, when I finally let go of my fear of being weird or being judged and I share from my heart something amazing happens; I feel the peace of our Lord surround me and make me feel complete!
What is the urgency though? The urgency I am feeling is that we as Christians are called to be strong and courageous. To bring hope, to offer new life, to set the example as how to live. We are called to love everyone including our enemies, and are asked to share what we have with others. But even more than that we are called to open our mouths and speak freely about who Jesus really is. To see the Kingdom of God descend! To believe for the impossible and to pray for the miraculous!
That is where I stand, that is what I have been thinking about lately. The urgency for Christ!
